Today is the birthday of the one and only Andre The Giant. He would have been 72 today.

Andre has of course come back into the limelight recently with his HBO documentary, but is always remembered for performances such as at WrestleMania 3 in a match versus Hulk Hogan, and of course in his role in the movie The Princess Bride.

Vince McMahon himself tweeted out today a Tweet remembering the lovable giant, noting him as extraordinary.
