Montpellier have completed the loan signing of French striker Andy Delort from Toulouse, with an obligatory option to buy the forward for €4.5m.
The 26-year-old signed for Toulouse on a four-year contract from Mexican club Tigres UANL in January 2017, scoring 10 goals in 47 appearances for the club in his 18-month spell.
Prior to his Mexican stint, Delort played for a host of clubs including Caen, Wigan Athletic and Tours- where he was nominated for Ligue 2 Player of the Year in the 2013/14 season.

Delort, who was born in nearby Sète, expressed his delight in securing the loan move: “It’s the club in my area, I’ve always wanted to sign here. I am relieved and ready to give a very, very good season with Montpellier”.
