How to Spot a Fake Hermes Birkin

AccessHollywood recently published an “On-Air” short clip of a few pointers to help with Birkin authenticity. It’s a great watch for those of you who are in the market for a Hermes Birkin, and rather than head to the Hermes boutique, going the other route such as eBay or Portero Luxury.

In the 1:42, fashion expert Michael Tonello briefly talks about how it’s all in the details. Like the Hermes logo stamp font, which Hermes owns the rights to, and every couple years change something about the design to throw off counterfeiters. Also other little dead giveaways, such as the stitch, interior lining and even the sleeping bags.

It’s all in the details.
