Copenhagen Fashion Fairs continues to expand

In spite of challenging times, the expansion at Copenhagen Fashion Fairs continues. This time around the fair will expand by an additional 1000 m2 introducing The Boiler in Terminal-2. The old locomotive building and its surrounding facilities hold great potential for further development and the modifications introduced this February represent just one of many initiatives for the coming season.

Nordic Lights at CPH Vision

While the heritage hype is on at Terminal-2, CPH Vision chooses a more Scandinavian guise by finding inspiration in the North Atlantic landscape. The exclusive new universe at CPH Vision offers a more feminine approach with typical North Atlantic elements like Scandinavian light, crisp whites and icy atmospheres.

Soundvenue in collaboration with the Egekilde & Heineken After-Hours Concerts Soundvenue, the Copenhagen-based music and lifestyle publication, will host the Heineken After-Hours Concerts at Terminal-2. Heineken and Soundvenue will be presenting the best new acts from the Copenhagen music scene to visitors to the Copenhagen Fashion Fairs with delicious drinks supplied by Stolichnaya Vodka and Cointreau between 5-7 pm on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 February. Details of the line-up at the Heineken & Egekilde After-Hours Concerts at both Terminal-2 and CPH Vision will follow.

The Blog Spot
At Copenhagen Fashion Fairs we do not underestimate the value and power of bloggers. The phenomenon has been hyped for a long time and continues to gain recognition. Copenhagen Fashion Fairs invites bloggers from all over the world to visit the new Blog-Spot lounge at both Terminal-2 and CPH Vision where press and bloggers can hang out, network, exchange ideas and make use of the computers to blog directly from the fair and upload their latest reports and pictures.

Photo Exhibition powered by Style Counsel

In line with the new set-up introduced at the fairs, Copenhagen Fashion Fairs is teaming up with the Danish creative bureau Style Counsel who will be the creative minds behind the new photo installations exhibited at Copenhagen Fashion Fairs. The trade shows previously held for visitors from Thursday to Sunday are this time being replaced by a look-book exhibition presenting the AW2010 trends and showcasing the great selection of international and Scandinavian brands exhibiting at the fairs. Well-known Danish stylists are on board to style the shows and photo exhibition – names to be revealed next week.
