While you may be thinking that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are just about to finish one of their worst ever IPL seasons, captain Kohli has come out in full support of the team, saying that it was not a bad season.

According to Kohli, RCB played well in the second half of the tournament.

RCB lost their first six matches, but won five of their last eight games.

“If we focus on the second half, it is exactly what we wanted in the first half. After losing your first six matches, it is very difficult to come back in a tournament like IPL,” said Kohli after Saturday’s game where RCB defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their final group-stage game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
