Unnao rape survivor and her family has been booked on charges of fraud and forgery. The Uttar Pradesh Police have filed a case against the teenager who accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar of gangraping her in Unnao with her accomplices.

Her mother and uncle have also been accused of tampering with documents to prove that she was a minor when the crime was allegedly committed.
