A new book written by former RSS pracharak and journalist Narendra Sehgal claims freedom fighter Rajguru who was sent to the gallows along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev on March 23 1931 in Lahore jail was a swayamsevak with RSS.

In a chapter titled ‘Swayamsevak Swatantrata Senani’ (RSS freedom fighters), the book attempts to ‘clear the air’ around RSS’ role in the freedom struggle and claims Rajguru visited RSS headquarters in Nagpur after assassinating British officer Saunders, reported The Hindustan Times.
