Former Cal Ripken Estate Is Back On The Market

REISTERSTOWN, MD — Former Baltimore Oriole Adam Jones, known for flipping houses, sold Cal Ripken Jr.’s custom estate about a year after buying it. Jones, who is now playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks, purchased the Reisterstown property for $3,465,000 at auction last June and sold it in May for a profit of $85,000.

This month the property went back on the market — for $700,000 more than Jones paid for it.

The estate is “recently refreshed,” according to the listing. Turf appears in the batting cage, and the front of the home has more curb appeal, with some of the plantings taken out and other accents added. According to the listing, the property has state-of-the-art security as well.

The asking price for the former Ripken estate is $4.25 million,
