El Rey Network announced a collaborative deal with Rey Mysterio to be involved in more projects beyond Lucha Underground.
El Rey and Mysterio agreed to a “one-year first look deal” that will see Mysterio “develop, produce. and consult on creative projects and series, both scripted and unscripted,” reports Deadline.com.
Mysterio will also be featured in Season 3 of Lucha Underground, which premiers September 7.
“Rey Mysterio’s incredible talent extends far beyond the ring,” said El Rey Network President and G.M. Daniel Tibbets. “He is creative and collaborative and has a keen eye for great entertainment. Rey embodies the El Rey Network brand and we are thrilled to expand our relationship with him.”
