WWE top star John Cena updated his injury status in the opening segment of his appearance on NBC’s “Today” show on Monday morning from New York City.
“I’m feeling really good,” Cena said. “But I am not ready (to wrestle again).”
Cena suggested that he will be appearing on Raw in Brooklyn, though. Cena noted that Monday night is the final stop on the Road to WrestleMania.
“I’m going to try to weasel my way in (to WM32), but I’m not sure just yet,” Cena said of what his role will be, acting coy about storyline plans.
“I’m close to being ready, hopefully this Sunday.”
