Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano’s United Kingdom Championship match will be airing on NXT TV next week.

After WWE previously announced that the match would be taking place in Houston prior to Saturday’s TakeOver: War Games broadcast with no confirmation of whether it was being taped for television, a backstage segment with Gargano and William Regal on last night’s episode set it up for next Wednesday.

In addition to that, Ruby Riot vs. Sonya Deville will also be taped for next week. The episode will feature video packages and post-match interviews from TakeOver as well.

Gargano is set to become the first wrestler born outside of the UK to challenge for the title. While the company’s plans for its UK brand have still yet to be announced, Triple H noted on a conference call today that WWE hopes to have something more definitive soon. He mentioned Dunne, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, and Wolfgang as being very talented wrestlers.
