During RAW it was announced that the trio of Paige, Sonya DeVille, and Mandy Rose will now go by the group name of Absolution. There had been some rumors they would be called “PMS”, thanks to the first letters in their name, but thankfully that idea did not come to pass. That name was used by a group of women including the former Terri Runnels back in the 1990s as Pretty Mean Sisters (along with “Meat” Sean Stasiak).
Now that we have a name for Paige and the NXT call-ups of RAW, we will have to wait and see if they will be linked to the team of Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, and Ruby Riot who also made stunning debuts on Smackdown last week.
To add to the storyline of the women’s trio, they tried to force Sasha Banks to bow to them and attacked her, but when asked the same thing Asuka just gave a smile and was allowed to leave without a fight. A potential storyline or feud with Absolution and “The Empress of Tomorrow” is already spinning in the minds of some of the fans, we will see if anything is developed out of that.
