Medicine Hat Youth Action Society (MHYAS) is a registered non-for profit organization located in the heart of downtown. We are an all-inclusive youth wellness centre that has been open for the past 20 years. All youth ages 11-17 are welcome to attend. We are a safe environment for youth in our community that has a zero tolerance towards bullying and drugs/alcohol. At Medicine Hat Youth Action Society, we give the youth the opportunity to find social support, build self-esteem, gain social skills, and learn to build resiliency all while participating in social-recreational activities. We are also actively involved in several community based activities and events. All our activities are FREE for youth.
