Ligue 1 strugglers St Étienne have been attempting to sign 25-year-old forward Serhou Guirassy on loan from Rennes.
ASSE boss Pascal Dupraz confirmed as much on Friday night:
“Is he an interesting option? He is one of them, there are others. You know, they are dream at the moment that we are speaking… is a deal imminent? Not for the moment.”
Speaking to Amazon this afternoon, SRFC boss Bruno Genesio removed this as a possibility: “The door is closed.”
