— Daniel Bryan has been announced for the 10/6 “WWE Super Show-Down” to take place in Melbourne, Australia, even though his contract with WWE expires in September. It should not be assumed that this means he has signed a new deal or that he will, but most believe that Bryan will end up staying with WWE.

— Brock Lesnar meanwhile wasn’t announced for this “all hands on deck” show because he only has one date left on his current WWE deal, though it’s always possible for him extend or re-sign. The difference between Bryan and Lesnar is that Lesnar would be “extremely unhappy” about being announced for a date he’s not agreed to and would turn it into a lot of leverage in negotiations whereas with Bryan, that’s not going to happen .
