At the NXT TV tapings on Thursday evening, the seed was planted for an eventual NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn showdown between Shinsuke Nakamura and Finn Balor.
During the final moments of the first episode taped on Thursday, which is set to air next week, Balor cut a promo about how NXT is a part of him no matter what the future holds.
It was at this point that Nakamura made his way to the ring and declared that he must defeat the NXT icon Balor before he can go for the NXT Championship. Balor too acknowledged the fact that the two will meet soon.
Triple H also tweeted the following photo from the tapings, hinting that the match will take place at the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn event in August.
