A video recaps last week on Raw when, with John Cena’s blessing, Ryback signed the contract to face CM Punk inside Hell in a Cell for the WWE Championship. Ryback would end up hitting Punk with shellshocked afterwards.

Up next, John Cena will come out and explain why he supported Ryback signing the contract.

[Commercial]

John Cena comes out and head into the ring to address the fans.

Cena: WOW, this is great. The defending Superbowl champs in the house. And right next door the home of next year’s Wrestlemania! On top of that, this Sunday WWE proudly presents Hell in a Cell! This Sunday is not just a normal pay per view. This Sunday, the WWE Universe will finally find out that CM Punk is a man that tells the truth. CM Punk has been WWE Champion for 337 days. But the most truthful thing CM Punk has ever said was right before he became champion. He was a visionary. And his vision…was change. And this Sunday, at Hell in the Cell, after 337 days, we see change! Change is six foot three. Change is 291 pounds. And when change steps into this ring all he can hear is “FEED ME MORE! FEED ME MORE! FEED ME MORE!”

The crowd chants back.

Ryback is not an individual who will come out and talk about an unreachable brass ring. He won’t complain about some conspiracy theory. He will not promise a revolutionary Raw with ice cream bars to boot. Ryback stands for destruction, and this Sunday the face of the WWE will change.

WWE Champion CM Punk comes out along with Paul Heyman.

Punk: Let him start by saying that of course he would say something nice about The Giants. Of course he would endear himself. He guesses he has to be the one to say that The Giants suck. But that’s not what he’s going to do. He’s a huge Giants fans. But these are the Giants from San Francisco. He wants change? That laughable. He’s been champion for 337 days and counting. Which means he hasn’t been champion for a lot longer. That, ladies and gentlemen, is change you can count on. He’s done everything he promised he would do and then some. He is the best in the world. Not him, not the Giants, not Ryback. So he can come out and speak for Ryback all he wants. He can promise he’ll be hurt and all the bodily harm to come and he can promise change. That’s fine. But everyone knows when CM Punk makes a promise he means it. And he will walk out of Hell in a Cell STILL their WWE Champion. He does like his new role in WWE as Ryback’s cheerleader. It fits him so well. It means one thing. Cena knows he can’t beat him.

Cena: He wanted to come out here and let the WWE Universe know how excited he was for this Sunday’s pay per view. It’s not that he can’t beat him, it’s that he wasn’t allowed to beat him. For the record, he is officially medically cleared now. But Punk already has a match and he’s not going to mess that up. He does, however, want to mess up his face. He heads to the ring right now and he’ll give him a pre-ass whooping to the real ass whooping.

Cena takes his shirt off. Punk takes off his hoodie and shirt and makes his way to the ring. He gets on the apron. Cena anxiously waits for Punk to get in the ring. Heyman tries to talk him out of it. Punk stops himself and gets off the apron. He heads up the ramp while holding his WWE Championship over his head.

Tonight, Kane takes on Big Show.

Backstage, a limo pulls into the arena. Chairman Vince McMahon and General Manager AJ Lee step out. They’re heading to the ring.

[Commercial]

Vince and AJ are in the ring.

Vince: Earlier today AJ met with the Board of Directors for several hours, and the subject matter was AJ’s tenure as General Manager of Monday Night Raw. Here to tell the results in her own words…AJ.

AJ grabs the mic.

AJ: Because of allegations of her fraternizing with a superstar on the roster, she is hereby resigning as General Manager of Monday Night Raw. And she just wants to say that these allegations are completely false. But she understands that she could’ve been fired a long time ago. She could’ve been fired when she attacked Vickie or Heyman or made many “unfair” decisions. And so she agreed to leave. And she knows that some of her decisions may have been unorthodox. And some may consider her mentally unstable, but she thinks some people like the crazy chick. And she knows this is coming to the end a little sooner than she wanted to, but she’s come so far from where she was once before. She grew up 15 minutes away from here. She doesn’t know if they know her story, but she grew up with nothing. She grew up in cars and motels. She has gone from being homeless to being the boss. And she thought she was going to be a poor girl who never made anything with her life, but they accepted her. So she just wants to thank them for everything. She loved every second of this job. Thanks to Vince for giving her the opportunity nobody else would have. Thank you.

Vince gives her a hug. Heyman shows up and heads into the ring.

Heyman: He’s sure that he speaks for everyone this evening when he says he was unaware of AJ’s touching life story. Think about the one in a million chance of a homeless girl becoming General Manager of one of the longest running shows on television. AJ rose above her lack of education and class. She rose above the fact that she was born and bred a Jersey Girl. No offense, but business is business. And in the name of business, there needs to be a new General Manager here on Monday Night Raw. And he understands that someone on the Board has to name a new manager right away. They need someone with class, an education, dignity, and a chance to show ruthless aggression. And he knows that they’ve butted heads and how wrong he’s been in the past and even recently. But he humbly suggests that if he needs him to step in, the next General Manager of Monday Night Raw should be Paul Heyman.

Vince: No. Allow him to introduce them to the “managing supervisor” of Monday Night Raw…Vickie Guerrero.

Vickie comes out and heads down to the ring.

Vickie: First of all, she just wants to thank the WWE Board of Directors for giving her this opportunity. EXCUSE ME! She is so touched with the Board’s values on expertise.

Heyman: Excuse ME! Miss Guerrero, now that she is in a position of power, it’s time for her to make her first decision, and he suggests that it be a momentous decision. Had he known she was in the running, he would not have offered to be General Manager and supported Vickie. He suggests that she take away Vince’s option to Punk on Raw to face Ryback at Hell in a Cell.

Vickie: Excuse Me Mr. Heyman, but as managing supervisor CM Punk will face Ryback at Hell in a Cell. And she has more good news. She’s going to show them all that she can do things better than Booker T on Smackdown. Tonight, in a champion versus champion match, CM Punk will take on Sheamus.

Heyman: She can’t do that.

Vickie: Watch her. Because what she’s going to do next he won’t like either. The match will be the largest lumberjack match on Monday Night Raw!

Heyman, frustrated, leaves the ring and rages. Vickie turns to AJ.

Vickie: Tisk, tisk, tisk AJ. She knew all along she wasn’t right for the job. Her immaturity and dress clothes are not right for authority. She has the maturity and experience to run Raw. That’s why the directors believe in her to be the “soon to be” General Manager. Do they know what the allegations are? Not only are they for fraternizing with a talent. She had an affair! And she disgusts her! So she needs her to go backstage, pack her barbies and little dolls, and go.

AJ glares at her and goes to leave but stops herself. She tilts her head and smirks. She faces Vickie and tackles her down, pummeling her right lefts and rights. Vickie and AJ are cat fighting all over the ring until Vickie rolls out of the ring. AJ smiles and skips to the back.

Up next, Ryback takes on The Miz.

[Commercial]

Matthews: How does he feel about having to face Punk in a lumberjack match later tonight?

Sheamus: There’s nothing he likes more than a champion versus champion match. Chaos can happen anytime. He loves the unpredictability.

Matthews: With the fact that he has to face Big Show this Sunday, will the lumberjack match have a negative affect on the World Championship match?

Sheamus is interrupted by Show walking over to him. Sheamus puts the doll to his face and Show smacks it away.

Show: He better not try to be funny. What he did to that Brawlin’ Buddy he’ll do to his face at Hell in a Cell.
