It looks like the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – yes, we still have a pair of those, in case you’ve forgotten – will once again NOT be appearing on tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live. The IIconics have been ducking challengers for weeks now, which hasn’t exactly sat well with the Kabuki Warrors, who are owed a title opportunity, nor the team of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville.

Tonight’s show was supposed to feature The IIconics vs. Rose and Deville in a non-title tag team match, with a future opportunity hanging in the balance. However, the champs were interviewed on their way out of the arena, claiming that Billie Kay has suffered some sort of “puppy fever” making her unfit for in-ring competition.

You can check out the interview below. Billie and Peyton were confronted by both of the teams attempting to chase them, before successfully exiting the building. It’s possible a match between the two will be announced instead.
