WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race’s Cancer Is NOT Terminal, Despite Reports To The Contrary

WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race is apparently not suffering from terminal lung cancer. The original story that broke on March 2 detailed comments from fellow WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who appeared with Hulk Hogan at an event the night before.

Flair answered an audience question about Race and told the room that Harley had terminal lung cancer. But Flair’s assessment was evidently incorrect, as Championship Wrestling From Hollywood’s David Marquez Tweeted that Race’s condition is not terminal.

Marquez stated that Harley does indeed have lung cancer but he is being treated by doctors. This is good news for pro wrestling fans of course and with any luck, the former seven-time NWA World champion will be able to successfully fight this disease.

I’ve just spoke to Harley Race’s family and yes he has been diagnosed with Lung Cancer but it’s not terminal. He’s being treated and supervised by his doctors. He is still very active in @worldleaguewlw and appreciates everyone’s concerns. pic.twitter.com/jn2uYLFeDF
