WWE Adds Special Stipulation to Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin at Elimination Chamber

Braun Strowman may finally get a measure of revenge on Baron Corbin at the Elimination Chamber on Sunday, February 17. The Monster Among Men has been feuding with the former Monday Night Raw Constable for several months and neither side has made any real forward progress.

But now this feud may well be on its way to finally wrapping up. That’s because WWE has added a no disqualification stipulation to this match.

Of course this does not necessarily mean that Strowman is the automatic favorite to win. Braun can do whatever he wants in the match now of course. But the same holds true for Corbin, who could enlist the aid of Drew McIntyre to help him get the win.

Many WWE fans are wondering where this storyline is going. At one time, it appeared that Strowman was on his way to becoming the new Universal champion. But now he’s once again out of title contention and WWE has taken no real strides in elevating him back up the ladder on Monday Night Raw.

Corbin has been in a holding pattern for quite some time. The company doesn’t seem to have a real plan for him, which means that even if he impresses during the match with Strowman, it may not mean much in the end. Despite what happens, it’s clear that fans are ready to move on from this angle. Whether or not WWE is also ready, remains to be seen.
