Cody Rhodes is set to face ROH Champion Jay Lethal at Ring of Honor’s year-end annual event, Final Battle on Dec. 14th, and is now saying that he will take the title into the free agency with him, should he win the bout.

“Jay [Lethal] was the first match I had in ROH two years ago,” the former-ROH World Champion wrote, “He will be my last.”

As previously noted, Rhodes’ contract with the promotion has already ended, and he is currently working on a per-appearance agreement while the rest of The Elite’s contracts (minus Marty Scurll) come due in early 2019.
