This Week’s WWE Smackdown Viewership Soars As WWE Wraps SummerSlam Week in Brooklyn

This week’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live, which was the final event at The Barclays Center in New York City after a four-day run for SummerSlam week, featuring the final fallout from Sunday night’s PPV.

The show also featured the return of Brie Bella, hype for WWE Hell in a Cell, the continuation of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s rivalry, Jeff Hardy getting revenge on Randy Orton, and the crowning of new Smackdown Tag Team Champions in The New Day.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Smackdown viewership averaged 2.437 million viewers, which is up from last week’s 2.189 million viewership average.

This week’s WWE Smackdown ranked #11 in overall cable TV viewership for the night.
