Making a splash! Ireland appeared to really, really enjoy themselves in the pool earlier

WITH ONLY A week to recover and prepare for the second Test against the Boks, time is at a premium for Ireland as they look to seal a historic series win in South Africa.

Joe Schmidt’s squad made the journey from Cape Town to Johannesburg yesterday and this morning spent some time in the pool to get the muscles moving again after Saturday’s bruising encounter.

Having played much of the game with 14 men, every player expended every last sinew to get over the line at Newlands and while it would have taken its toll physically, the players appeared in good spirits today.
