PSG ultras have no plans to continue their weekend protests against Real Madrid tomorrow

As reported by RMC, PSG’s main ultra group, the CUP, have informed the outlet they don’t plan to continue the protests seen at the weekend against Rennes which saw the group leave the stand vacant for the first part of the game before displaying several critical banners aimed at players and staff.

The CUP are, however, disappointed that PSG players didn’t come and meet them after the Rennes game, as Lyon players did with OL ultra group Bad Gones following their win over Nice the following evening.

Last week, the group released a damning statement accusing the club of “insulting fans” and “pilling up stars like a spoiled child, without concern for a coherent sporting plan” while “offering something that we can no longer support.” Which forced coach Mauricio Pochettino to call for unity ahead of the Madrid game.
