Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Brest midfielder Romain Faivre has notably discussed Milan’s interest in him dating back from over the summer.
The 23-year-old’s move to the Rossoneri did not go through in August, but the former Monaco man remains hopeful of a transfer in the near future.
“When Maldini, a legend, calls you, you feel valued and you want to do everything you can to go to Milan. It makes me really happy [to be the subject of Milan interest], knowing that my career only really started last season.”
“I am convinced that in order to impose yourself in a team like Milan you need to prepare in advance. Because of that, I have sessions with a personal trainer three times a week, and a nutritionist to eat healthy – but I’m not the one that cooks. Finally, I have a mental coach in order to learn to manage emotions and the pressure that is typical of a great club like Milan.”
“I know [Fodé] Ballo-Touré from our time at Monaco together. He tells me that Milan are a great club, with big ambitions, fantastics supporters. I am also ambitious. All in all, everything is in place for it to work out.”
