Ligue 1 side Marseille on Tuesday confirmed the signing of 22-year-old French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi on loan with an obligation to buy.

Guendouzi signs from Arsenal after a loan at Hertha Berlin following a fallout with manager Mikel Arteta.

The deal is a €1m loan with an €11m obligation to buy.

Guendouzi signs a long-term contract with OM and will wear #6, which has been vacant since the departure of central defender Rolando.
