Speaking to reporters on Friday, Nantes manager Raymond Domenech provided an update on the status of ex-Marseille midfielder Giannelli Imbula’s ongoing trial at the club.

“I have not yet taken a decision. He has a real potential, he is interesting. He is improving but I have not taken a decision. I am giving myself a deadline of a couple of days. We have spoken with the president but what will count will be what I say. That is the essential thing. Giannelli was an opportunity. We will see what it gives us. But there is no priority during the transfer window. We can improve across the board but we will see what is best. Giannelli has been part of our squad for 10 days.”
