RMC and L’Équipe report that as of last night Lyon were closing in on the completion of a sensational double-swoop for Lille duo Thiago Mendes (CM) and Youssouf Koné (LB) worth €37m.

The deal will also include a 25% sell-on percentage fee for the 23-year-old left-back. The purchase of Thiago Mendes, who is understood to have already agreed personal terms with OL, should make way for the departure of Tanguy Ndombele.
