Létang, who has known Hatem since their respective PSG days, has been attempting to convince the Frenchman to join for several months, but yesterday appears to have been decisive.

A 2-year contract is what is currently being discussed, with Ben Arfa, according to the media outlet, currently in Rennes for further talks.
