Ouest France report that Brittany side EA Guingamp are interested in signing former French international midfielder Yoann Gourcuff from Rennes this summer.

Gourcuff currently has two of his best friends at EAG, Jimmy Briand and Étienne Didot, and has received mixed amounts of playing time under his current boss Sabri Lamouchi.

Gourcuff’s current deal expires in 2019, and a move to Guingamp would admittedly be surprising, but it is an idea that the latter outfit are currently exploring.
