Sevilla defender Adil Rami has received a call up to the French national team squad after doubts concerning Raphaël Varane’s fitness emerged over the weekend.

Deschamps has decided that at the very least he will need to consider the call up of another right-sided central defender.

Rami has been called up as a reserve for the moment.
