I first took notice of the drawstring pouch trend when my fellow Bag Bliss blogger, Deysa, featured it in one of her posts back in April (you can check it out here: BagBliss Trend Alert: The Drawstring Pouch Bag). Personally, I think this look is nothing short of adorable! So you can imagine how thrilled I was to see that Rebecca Minkoff had jumped on the drawstring pouch bandwagon as well. And I had thought Deysa’s picks were heavy on the studs! Wow! What sets this drawstring pouch aside from the others, however, is the bottom of the bag. Rather than having the typical round bottom that is created using a separate piece of material, the Rebecca Minkoff Studded Out Drawstring Pouch has employed the use of pleats to help create the rounded shape. Neat! Plus I am absolutely in love with Rebecca Minkoff’s new polka dot lining. The blue/black combo is cute, but it still maintains the bag’s bad girl image. Take into account the extra long chain strap and you have yourself an edgy drawstring pouch that is sure to take you from day to night and everywhere in between!
