In case you haven’t noticed, Tory Burch has undergone some changes lately! Big changes! For the most part, I have really been liking what I’m seeing. And, judging from the increased coverage of this designer lately, I think my fellow bloggers agree. Personally, I really love the new shapes and less conspicuous logos. But this new found appreciation of mine was completely turned on its head when I came across the Tory Burch Steffi Print Tote.
It’s not the paint splotch pattern that bothers me, nor is it the snake-embossed texture. Alone, these things can actually look very nice on a handbag. It’s the fact that both of these things are together on one handbag that bothers me. Sorry, but it is just too much! This isn’t to say, however, that I hate everything about this bag. Nope, there are actually some good qualities that I can see in there. I love the slightly trapezoidal shape and the pieced together styling. I also love the diagonal zipper pockets on the front. They really help draw the eye upward and it places even more emphasis on the bag’s unusual shape. And yes, this bag does have an inverted pleat near the top. We all know what a sucker I am for pleats!
Find the Tory Burch Steffi Print Tote at Nordstrom! But unless you’re a hardcore graffiti handbag collector, I would strongly suggest going for the solid colored version (also available) instead.
