Some fans may remember a report from last year stating that there was an altercation backstage between Vince McMahon and Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania 34. The incident supposedly came right after Lesnar’s successful Universal Championship defense against Roman Reigns in the main event of the show. The reports circulated until they were mostly forgotten about, but some footage of the incident in question has finally been revealed to the public. Following last night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view, WWE premiered their new WWE 24 special on WrestleMania 34. In that documentary, the company included some footage of the altercation that took place between Lesnar and the Chairman of WWE himself.
In the footage that is included in the new WWE 24 special, Brock Lesnar can be seen throwing the Universal Championship at Vince before leaving. McMahon can be heard cursing at Lesnar as he makes his exit. Why the incident took place was never outright stated in the documentary. There have been rumors claiming that Lesnar making Reign bleed was not part of the script or that the finish of the match was changed at the last minute. Those may be two possible reasons for why the incident occurred. It was also heavily rumored at the time that Lesnar was looking to leave WWE to return to UFC. Lesnar is still holding onto the Universal title right now, and he is still scheduled to compete at WrestleMania 35 this April.

Daniel Bryan put his WWE Championship on the line in another match against AJ Styles during the Royal Rumble event last night Bryan ended up retaining his title in a hard-fought match after Erick Rowan shockingly returned and helped him gain the win. However, some fans noted online that there was a lack of crowd noise during the title match. Believe it or not, Bryan addressed the small reception from the Phoenix, Arizona crowd in an interview with WWE after the fact. He said that it was just another example of how fickle the crowds are. He also claimed that AJ Styles allowed himself to become bothered by it while he was not phased by it in the least, thus allowing him to defeat Styles and retain his title.
