When Kurt Angle made his WWE return in 2017, fans were intrigued to see the former world champion compete against the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and others, but he has mostly been serving as the General Manager on Raw while occasionally wrestling for the company. Angle was recently forced to take a vacation on television but he is reportedly actually in the process of training for an in-ring return. According to PWInsider, Angle was backstage for this week’s Raw show and he is still scheduled to be backstage at Raw each week until he returns to television. The vacation that Angle is on is purely being done for storyline purposes and he could be returning for a match against Baron Corbin very soon.
Kairi Sane has been a fan-favorite ever since she made her debut in NXT due to her delightful personality and intense in-ring style. Sane recently won the NXT Women’s Championship from Shayna Baszler, but she nearly lost the championship already during a recent NXT show. While taking the title out of a treasure chest during her entrance, Sane also grabbed some coins to throw into the audience. Unfortunately for Sane, one throw resulted in the women’s title accidentally flying right into the crowd. Sane immediately went after the title and was able to retrieve it. Although it is unlikely to be shown on NXT television, fans have uploaded footage of the incident online, which Sane herself recently commented on.

Former pro wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is still one of the biggest names in all of Hollywood at the moment. Although there have recently been rumors about “The Great One” possibly returning to the ring in 2019 just in time for a match at WrestleMania 35, his schedule is absolutely packed with a number of filming commitments lined up in the near future. According to Deadline, The Rock will now be starring in a film called “The King” by director Robert Zemeckis. The film tells the story of a king named Kamehameha, who helped to unite the warring Hawaiian islands and took control of the entire state. There is currently no word on an estimated release date for the upcoming film right now.
