It was previously reported that last night at TakeOver Tommaso Ciampa made his return and attacked his former Tag Team Partner Johnny Gargano after he lost the main event to NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Almas. After TakeOver went off the air, Gargano was helped to his feet by officials and then he walked to the back with his wife and new WWE signee Candice LeRae at his side. Gargano received a standing ovation from most of the crowd as he was helped to the back.
