It has been fun to watch, but I do think that when it’s the two of us, it’s very hard to tell that story! It’s like ‘Am I the bad guy? are you the bad guy?!. But, from afar and as an outsider looking in, it has been great to see her take the ball and run with it, because I don’t know that it is a natural fit for her. It is coming across that way and it’s great.”

Other Wrestling
FTR appeared on yesterday’s episode of the Jim Cornette Experience. While furthering their feud with The Young Bucks, they claimed that they’re still negotiating with AEW: “That’s the thing. So, we’re negotiating still. We have a short-term almost handshake deal because they want to get this thing done because it’s been talked about for so many years. So we’re not under any long-term obligation to anybody…We’ve been very transparent with them that we’re willing to work with these guys, but there’s a very real possibility that it’s not going to be pretty and we’re not going to respond well to some of the things they said before. He knows this…I think Tony is very aware of those things you said, I think he knows and I think he welcomes it. He seems very excited about the possibility that things could get real ugly real quick and if he’s willing to do these deals that he’s kind of put in place right now, to me that’s the green light to do whatever we need to do.”
On episode two of NWA Girl Power, Marti Belle, Allysin Kay, MJ Jenkins, and Ayla Fox had a conversation about the Black Lives Matter movement and the ongoing nationwide protests over the murder of George Floyd and issues of racism and police brutality.
In an interview for WrestleZone’s The Watch List, Chris Jericho discussed his match against Hiroshi Tanahashi from Wrestle Kingdom 14 and the Stadium Stampede match from Double or Nothing: “If you haven’t seen Jericho versus [Hiroshi] Tanahashi from Tokyo Dome — this year, it seems like it was years ago — but that was one of my favorite matches because you have two guys with the same mindset. Everyone thinks you just go to Japan and beat the sh*t out of each other, and that’s not the case. Tanahashi is really smart and I enjoyed putting that match together, the camaraderie we had. Never worked, never touched each other in the ring ever, and that’s when you know you have a real pro in there. And then the Stadium Stampede — if you haven’t seen it, some people are calling it the best match they’ve ever seen. I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for many reasons. Wrestling has all different shapes and sizes and we used all of them in that Stadium Stampede match.”
