Global Force Wrestling has been doing all that they can to hype up their show and make it big enough to compete with the likes of WWE. Since rebranding as GFW this year, the company has been working hard to improve their product. Lately, the company has been snagging up some new names lately such as John Morrison and Rey Mysterio, the latter of which appears to be signing with the company very soon instead of WWE. Unforunately, with all of those big names joining the promotions comes the inevitable announcement that some departures are on the way. Some of these departures have been rumored for a while now, but others are just starting to make the news right now.
Wrestling News Co. is reporting that they have learned that four different Global Force stars have called it quits with the company. Madison Rayne appears to be on the way out, though she had been rumored to leave the company for a while now. Former GFW Champion Magnus also appears to have left the company only mere months after revisiting the Impact Zone. Additionally, Brandi Rhodes seems to be done as she made it known that her husband Cody had left the company earlier in the year. Also, it looks like Matt Morgan has departed the company. Matt Morgan had only just recently made his return to Impact on television.
The departures of these superstars has not yet been confirmed by Global Force Wrestling, but all of their profiles have been removed from the GFW roster. No word on why these employees have decided to quit, but GFW recently introduced a new clause in every contract stating that wrestlers must give 10% of all indy booking revenue to the company in addition to 100% of the shares made off of merchandise. Rayne, Morgan, Magnus, and Rhodes are certainly not the first GFW roster members to leave this year as numerous talents have decided to work elsewhere this year. Hopefully the company will be able to replenish the show with new stars following all of the recent departures.
