Booker T Reviews AEW Double Or Nothing On ESPN Radio (Video)

Booker T released an excerpt of his ESPN Houston 95.7’s ‘The Hall Of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore’ on his official Reality Of Wrestling YouTube channel on Wednesday.

In the video clip, which you can see below, the WWE Hall Of Famer reviews the inaugural All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing, which took place this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

During the show, Booker T spoke about former WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose making his AEW debut as Jon Moxley at the end of the show. According to Booker, he didn’t see that one coming, as he truly thought Ambrose would take some time to himself after recently getting married and parting ways with WWE.

“This guy is probably just gonna take some time […] some vacation time at an island beach with his woman,” said Booker when talking about what he thought Ambrose would do when his WWE contract expired and he chose not to re-sign. “The brother just got married not too long ago. He never had a real honeymoon, like a month long. That’s what I thought he’d do.”

When talking about fear of losing his momentum being a potential factor in Moxley’s decision to return, Booker agreed that it likely did.

“When you lose momentum, sometimes it’s really hard to get it back,” said Booker. “So I think with Dean Ambrose, Jon Moxley, he really didn’t wanna lose that momentum. I think this guy thinks he has so much more to prove. Not to the wrestling world, to himself. To see how far he can really go, and I dont think it has anything to do with WWE. I really don’t. I think it has everything to do with Jon Moxey. I really do.”

‘The Hall of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore’ airs every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on ESPN 97.5 in Houston, Texas, and on HallofFamePodcast.com.
