— Last night, WWE announced that the new women’s tag team champions would be crowned at the February PPV – Elimination Chamber in Houston – where six teams will compete in an elimination chamber, the winners becoming champs.

— It was also confirmed that there will be three teams from each brand competing and the titles will be one set of belts to be shared by the two brands. While WWE has yet to announce any teams, it is expected that Sasha Banks & Bayley, Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose, Tamina & Nia Jax and the Iiconics will probably be four of the six teams. It is also rumored that WWE will be bringing back Trish Stratus and Lita, perhaps not to compete at Elimination Chamber, but to contest for the titles later on in 2019.
