— WWE has released developmental wrestler Ryan Wilson, who worked in OVW as masked character Jacob Duncan. Wilson, was the OVW champion at one point late last year. He appeared briefly in TNA as Trytan and signed with WWE in November 2005. Wilson worked a dark match with Funaki before a SmackDown/ECW taping last July.

— Lilian Garcia and 2007 Diva Search winner Eve Torres will be appearing on the Best Damn Sports Show Period next Monday night after Raw. This news is coming from their respective MySpace pages. Garcia was scheduled to be on the show last Tuesday, but they aired a “best of” show that night instead. She may have taped her appearance that night when she was still in the Los Angeles area after Raw, otherwise it looks like she’ll be missing this Monday’s Raw if she’s doing her appearance this Monday as Raw is all the way in Kansas on that night.
