Cody and Brandi Rhodes revealed that they are expecting a baby girl on tonight’s AEW Dynamite. 

The gender reveal took place following a video promo by Brandi. She said that not even Cody knew the gender of their child, so why not do something special on Dynamite. She also stated that she misses the fans. The couple then came to the stage for the gender reveal. As pink pyro was fired, “It’s a girl!” appeared on the video wall. 

Brandi and Cody first announced on the December 16, 2020 edition of Dynamite that they were expecting a child in 2021. 

Brandi Rhodes serves as the Chief Brand Officer of AEW and has also appeared in a variety of roles as on-screen talent for the company. In addition to being an in-ring performer, Cody Rhodes serves as an Executive Vice President for the company. 

The two met when both were under contract to WWE and later married in September 2013.
