Tommaso Ciampa vs Velveteen Dream Confirmed for NXT Takeover: WarGames; 3 Huge Matches Announced

WWE has officially announced three huge matches for the upcoming NXT Takeover: WarGames special, which will kick off Survivor Series weekend in Los Angeles on Saturday, Nov. 17tth.

As reported in our spoiler-filled coverage of NXT’s last set of television tapings, Bobby Fish will return to action after spending all of 2018 on the injured list, as the Undisputed Era faces the War Raiders, Ricochet and Pete Dunne in a tradition four-on-four WarGames match.

Plus, after two months of investigation from NXT General Manager William Regal, the attacker behind Aleister Black’s August assault has finally been revealed as none other than Johnny Gargano. The normally happy-go-lucky “Johnny Wrestling” was set to face Black and Ciampa at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in a triple threat match, but was written into an angle to write Black off television due to a legitimate injury.

Here’s the updated match card…
