Batista also revealed in the interview that aside from the standalone “Rogue One” Star Wars Story film, he has not been a very big fan of the current installment of “Star Wars” films, which includes “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi”.
“I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of the latest installments,” said the actor. “I particularly loved Rogue One. I thought it was a really great film and I love that they went a little bit dark with it. I thought it was really interesting.”
The article also notes that Batista remains steadfast in landing a role in the possible “Gears of War” movie adaptation of the classic video game, saying he “really wants” to do it having been “after it for years”.
