As reported by RMC Sport, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain and chairman of beIN, is present at the France team’s first training session in Qatar this evening.
Les Bleus touched down in Qatar yesterday after spending two days at the national team’s training centre at Clairefontaine, having only just come together on Monday. They start their title defence on November 22, against Australia.
The PSG president was present from the start of the session, alongside FFF president Noël Le Graët. They notably saw Karim Benzema and Raphaël Varane train warm up with the squad but train individually again, with the two currently recovering from injury, and in a race against time to make it to match-fitness for the opening game.

The former Real Madrid teammates had been training separately on Tuesday, with Varane, France’s vice-captain, notably picking up a thigh issue in Manchester United’s draw against Chelsea last month, but ostensibly set to return to action in time for the start of the tournament.
