AS Monaco centre-back Axel Disasi (24) has expressed a desire to one day play in the Premier League. The Frenchman has three years remaining on his deal at the Principality club.
Speaking on Rothen S’enflamme, Disasi made his preference should he leave Monaco clear. Asked where he sees himself in the future, he said, “I like England a lot. I find it a very exciting championship, so that would be my choice of division.”
Disasi also revealed during a revealing interview that following Monaco’s draw against PSG in August, the Ligue 1 champions were in contact with him over a potential move. However, he said that he is feeling good at Monaco, where he has the trust of the manager, as well as the management.

Disasi has previously been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur by RMC. He received his first provisional call-up to the French national team this month, although he ultimately didn’t make Didier Deschamps’ final squad.
