Le Parisien report tonight that Neymar’s departure from Paris Saint-Germain this summer now appears to be a given, with the Brazilian no longer comfortable at the club and the Ligue 1 Champions open to selling him at the right price.

Neymar’s father and his agent Pini Zahavi are in constant contact with the PSG management. Club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has indicated in a recent interview with the outlet that it was the end of the “bling-bling” era at PSG, comments which Neymar’s team thought were aimed at him.
The club is expected to end any tolerance in terms of late arrivals to training or behaviour. Neymar is said to be a poor influence on other players in terms of behaviour, while the players closest to him in the dressing room, Ángel Di María and Leandro Paredes, have left or are on their way out. As a result, his influence in the dressing room has waned, on top of Kylian Mbappé’s emergence as the main star of the club and now the highest earner.
Neymar is open to leaving, but not for any price or conditions – he will not oppose himself to a move, but will not facilitate one either. His priority is not to leave, although all options remain on the table – including a potential loan deal that would see a club take on all, or at least part of, his €35m wages.
Thiago Silva, who recently called on Neymar to join him at Chelsea, is in contact with his former teammate at PSG to try to convince him to move to London. The former PSG captain regularly speaks to his compatriot, as he looks to emphasise that the club do not value him as they should. The Premier League side’s new owner Todd Boehly is nevertheless said to be more interested in moving for Ousmane Dembélé.
