Manchester United & Newcastle United interested in Faitout Maouassa

L’Équipe report that Premier League duo Manchester United and Newcastle United have been tracking the progress of Rennes left-sided player Faitout Maouassa closely in recent months, with a view to potentially entering into talks over a deal in summer.

The Magpies made an €8m bid for him last winter and have not lost contact with the French youth international since. The Red Devils have also taken a look at the 21-year-old’s situation, who is under contract with Rennes until June 2021.
