Le Télégramme report that 33-year-old left-back Ludovic Baal is set to sign a one-year contract with Brest after being present at training with the Ligue 1 side yesterday.

He is set to take up a spot in the squad as back-up to Romain Perraud, who has recently joined from OGC Nice.

David Kiki, the other left-back in the squad, is expected to leave the club before the window is over.
