Foot Mercato report that Ligue 1 side Marseille have made contact over the availability of 28-year-old FC Porto attacker Moussa Marega.

OM Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta has made initial enquiries, with the outlet claiming that new manager André Villas-Boas is a big fan of getting a deal over the line and knows the player well.

The problem for Marseille is the asking price, €30m, demanded by FC Porto. In England, Liverpool and West Ham have positioned themselves more concretely for the player.
